FISEC-FICEP 2026

Budapest, host city of the Games 2026

Budapest, Hungary’s capital, is often called the “Pearl of the Danube” and for good reason. This vibrant city, split by the majestic Danube River into the hilly Buda and the flat Pest, offers a blend of historical grandeur, modern artistic flair, and culinary excellence.
Top attractions are the Buda Castle (the historic palace complex of the Hungarian kings), the Parliament Building (situated along the Danube and one of the largest parliament buildings in the world) and the Chain Bridge (iconic symbol of the city, connecting Buda and Pest).
Budapest is famous for its thermal baths. The Széchenyi Bath is one of the largest spa complexes in Europe.
