Malta Revisited During the FISEC General Assembly of November 2007 in Paris, France, Malta signed the contract for the organization of the FISEC Summer Games 2008. The FISEC member countries look forward to revisiting Malta: its beautiful bays and cities, its historic venues and above all its FISEC friends. Malta successfully organized the FISEC Summer games in: 1997, 2002, 2004.
On the programme The following sports are on the programme for these FISEC Summer Games 2008. Individual Sports: atheletics (track & field), table-tennis, swimming , all for boys and girls. Team sports: basketball, handball and volleyball for boys and girls. Soccer and futsal for boys.
Age-group Participants Boys and girls, born in 1991 and later, (1991, 1992, etc.) will be allowed to participate in the FISEC Summer Games 2008. The programme of the Summer Games will be as follows (further specifications will be given later)
Tue 15 July Arrival of delegations Wed 16 July Opening of the Games and start of competitions Thu 17 July Competitions Fri 18 July Competitions, optinal: excursion Sat 19 July Competitions Sun 20 July Finals and closing ceremony and Farewell party Mon 21 July Departure of delegations
A detailed programme and schedules per sport will be published as soon as possible. Accommodation All delegations will be lodged in excellent hotels.
