Fisec Summer Games 2008 - Malta
"Everyone is a winner"From 15 to 21 July the 60th FISEC Summer Games took place in Malta. More than 1000 young (agegroup between 13 and 17) participants and accompanying staff from 10 countries met during these games to compete in 8 different sports (athletics, swimming and table tennis in the individual sports, basketball, handball, football, futsal, and volleyball in the teamsports).
The Games were a great success. The Maltese Organizing Committee managed to create a context for excellent competitions, a great atmosphere to meet during cultural events such as the Bazar and the Youth Forum, and last but not least the Opening Ceremony in Mdina.
